About Us

 

We are a small dental office in Atmore, AL located at 111 East Ridgeley Street, behind the police station. We are a Christian based practice that strives to serve our patients with the love and care that Christ embodies. We accept new patients and we accept many different types of insurances, people without insurance, and children. We truly want to provide dental care for the entire family. We enjoy serving and being apart of our community everyday.

Clint Toomey- Office Manager

Clint joined Atmore Family Dental in 2012. He obtained his Bachelor’s in Business Management in 2008. He focuses on the day-to-day functions of running the office. He married his lovely wife Naomi in 2009 and they have two beautiful children, Kenzleigh and Micah. When Clint is not working, he enjoys his family and being outdoors as much as possible.

Courtney Ellis- Office Coordinator

Courtney has been with our team since 2014 and will usually be the first person you talk with at our office. She graduated from Fortis Institute in 2012 and has been in the dental field ever since. She is a lifetime resident of Castleberry, where she lives with her husband JoJo. When Courtney is not in the office she enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, and likes doing activities such as fishing and being outdoors.

Victoria Cobb- Hygienist

Victoria arrived at Atmore Family Dental with 3 years experience in Dental Hygiene and 5 years total experience in the Dental Field. She graduated from the hygiene program at UAB in 2011. She is a life-long resident of Brewton, where she lives with her husband Eric and her 2 step-children Peighon and Jansen. Victoria joined Atmore Family Dental in 2013. Her love for dental hygiene fuels her desire to provide an important service to our patients. She enjoys the opportunity to help our patients understand why complete oral care is so beneficial to there health.

Laurie Coleman- Dental Assistant

Laurie started her dental career here at Atmore Family Dental as a Certified Dental Assistant. She achieved her certification at Fortis College in 2012. Laurie then decided she wanted to further her education and pursue her dream of becoming a Registered Dental Hygienist. She attended the dental hygiene program at UAB, where she received her license in 2015. She is a lifelong resident of Huxford, where she lives with her husband Chase. Laurie has been employed at our office for almost five years.

Ashley Hinote- Dental Assistant

Ashley has been with our team since 2013. She is an assistant to Dr. Morris and can answer any questions you have about your treatment. She can inform you of what to expect while you complete your dental work. Ashley received her dental assistant degree from Fortis College in Pensacola in 2012. Ashley is a resident of Flomaton, where she lives with her husband Colby and their son Cade. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors.

Krystal Johnson-Dental Assistant.

Krystal has been assisting at our office for a year. She graduated from Alma Bryant High School in 2004. In 2006 she married her high school sweetheart, Matt. Together they have two daughters, Madison (8), and Olivia (4). Krystal and her husband are youth pastors at Coden Assembly of God Church. She enjoys spending time with her family and playing music.

T.J. Morris, DDS

Dr. Morris was born in Mobile, Alabama. He attended Theodore High School, and received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Spring Hill College. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. His main passion in life is his relationship with the Lord. He has been married to his wife Mandy since 2006, and they have two sons. Dr. Morris spent 5 weeks in the Dominican Republic through the ILAC program in 2009 doing missionary dental work and he has been every year since. He also volunteers at the HOPE Center in Fairhope, Alabama once a week to provide dental care to the indigent. When he is not doing dentistry, Dr. Morris enjoys spending time with his family and enjoying the outdoors through hunting and fishing. He and his family are active members at Three Circle Church in Fairhope, AL.
